Each of the following
shots will be a closer view to
see how the Salt Lake Temple and
the Nauvoo Temple, as well as
many other Mormon temples not
mentioned in this article, are
decorated with pagan symbols of
the Occult.
Some of the following pictures
are used by permission of Dennis
and Rauni Higley of
H.I.S. (He
Is Savior) Ministries
International
Ever since
ancient times and throughout the
Medieval Ages, these symbols
have been used in Satanic
worship. What influence caused
these symbols to be used to
decorate Mormonism's most
prominent temple and LDS
architecture?
Satan's
first lie recorded in the Bible
is in Genesis 3:5, "ye shall be
as gods." The doctrines of
"exaltation" and "celestial
glory" (that people can evolve
into gods and goddesses) are
rooted in ancient witchcraft (see
"A History of Witchcraft" by
Jeffrey B. Russell, pp. 158-159;
"Drawing Down the Moon" by
Margot Adler, p. 25, and
"Gnosis" by Kurt Rudolf, pp.
92-93) Yet, these
doctrines, complete with the
same terminology, are being
perpetuated through the Mormon
Church today. Satan is deceiving
innocent, God-loving people into
unknowingly following his oldest
and most predominate lie, and he
has left his mark all over
Mormon temples.
Don't
you wonder why the cross is
nowhere to be found on Mormon
temples and LDS Church
buildings? The cross is where
our victory over death took
place, and yet the LDS Church
won't have anything to do with
it. The apostle Paul tells us
that, "the preaching of the
cross is to them that perish,
foolishness; but unto us which
are saved it is the power of
God" (1 Cor. 1:18) Satan opposes
the cross.
This
evidence is being exposed to
you, my friend, because of our
deep love for the LDS people,
and because you have the right
to know. Our hope for Mormons
throughout the world who deeply
love God and who honestly want
to worship God in truth, is that
they will realize they've become
victims of Satan's deception.
Since the early 1800's, Satan
has been binding the minds of
Mormons around the world from
the true gospel; "But if our
gospel be hid, it is hid to them
that are lost: In whom the god
of this world (Satan) hath
blinded the minds of them which
believe not." (2 Cor. 4:3-4).

Notice keystones
above each arched window and
symbols on columns between the
windows.

Sunstones shown on
each column.

The above
pictures focus on the sun symbol on
the Salt Lake Temple. Throughout the
Old Testament God punished the
Israelites for the worship of the
idol, Baal", portrayed by the image
of the sun. See "The Two
Babylons" by Alexander Hislop, pp.
162-163; also 1 Kings 22:53; 2 Kings
23:4,5,11; 2 Cron. 34:4 and Jer.
11:13,17.
A more accurate
display of the image of
Baal was found on the
Nauvoo Temple. One
of the original stones
is incased in a climate
controlled glass
structure on the site
near where the Nauvoo
Temple stood. |
 |
A facsimile
of it is currently displayed across
the street to the west of the Salt
Lake Temple on a stone mural at the
LDS Historical Museum.

Church History and Art Museum.
This building was built in 1984.

Near the top left
hand corner in the circle, you can
see the pagan sun god Baal
as it appeared on the Nauvoo Temple.

Dictionary
Baal
- Lord,
possessor. The Sun-god and the male or
generative principle
in nature. The
principal seat and
source of his cult was
Phoenicia (1 Kgs.
16:31). He was
worshipped with
different ideas and
rites (cf.
plural Baalim) in
different places; by
Moabites, etc., as
Baal-peor (Num.
25:1-3,17-18); at
Shechem as Baal-berith
(Judg. 8:33; 9:4);
at Ekron as Baal-zebub
(2 Kgs. 1:2). Baal
is by some
identified with Bel
of Babylon and Zeus
of Greece. The word
Baal expresses the
relation between
lord and slave.
Becoming utterly abominable from
its associations,
its use was abjured
and Bosheth (shame)
was substituted in
names compounded
with it. (Cf.
Ishbosheth,
Jerubbesheth =
Gideon.) The
prophets call Baal
The Shame (Jer.
11:13; Hosea 9:10). Ashtoreth was the goddess
generally worshipped
along with Baal.
Compounds of Baal
with a second word
denote (1) an
attribute of the
god, (2) the place
or manner of his
worship, or 3)
something that a
place possesses.
Ashtaroth
Plural of Ashtoreth. Idols
worshipped with
Baal, by the
Israelites (Judg.
2:13; 10:6; 1 Sam.
7:3-4; 12:10;
31:10). Also a city
in Bashan (Deut.
1:4).

Symbolism of the Occult
is also found in the
form of the "Moon
Stones" which is
represented in phases on
the Salt Lake Temple. |
 |
Symbols of the witch
goddess Dana (Artemis),
and used in black magick.
Please note the actual
stones between the
windows at the top of
each pillar and the
different phases of the
moon that is
represented. It is also
interesting how the
shadow of the oval
shaped windows create a
crescent moon effect
within the window area. |
 |
Different phases of the
moon have various
meanings in witchcraft,
all of which are
displayed around the
temple.

female head, the Moon. And
the hand on the male side
holds the Compass, and that
on the female side, a
Square." (Morals and

| "As ...Osiris
represented the sun...
in Egyptian lore,
Isis...represented...
the Moon. But the truth
is, that Osiris
represented the male,
active or generative,
powers of nature; while
Isis represented its
female, passive or
prolific, powers." (Encyclopedia of
Freemasonry, pp. 678,
746.)
"The Druids of Britain
and Gaul had a deep
knowledge concerning the
mysteries of Isis and
worshiped her under the
symbol of the moon. The
moon was chosen for Isis
because of its
domination over water.
The Druids consider the
sun to be the father and
the moon the mother of
all things."

Ages, p. LXVIII.) |

Cteis. Symbolized as the
moon. "The female
personification of the
productive principle. It
generally accompanied the
Phallus...and as a symbol of
the prolific powers of
nature, and was extensively
venerated by the nations of
antiquity."
(Encyclopedia of
Freemasonry, p.257.)
"The Cteis was a circular
and concave pedestal, or
receptacle, on which the
Phallus, or column [obelisk]
rested. The union of these
two, as the generative and
producing principles of
nature, in one compound
figure, was the most usual
mode of representation. Here
we find the origin of the point
within a circle,
a symbol which was first
adopted by the old sun
worshipers."
(Encyclopedia of
Freemasonry, p. 769.)

Representation of the
pillars of the Nauvoo
Temple |
And hath gone and served other gods, and
worshipped them, either
the sun, or moon, or any of
the host of heaven,
which I have not
commanded;
Deuteronomy 17:3
And they left all the
commandments of the LORD
their God, and made them
molten images, [even]
two calves, and made a
grove, and worshipped
all the host of heaven,
and served Baal.
2 Kings 17:16
For he built up again
the high places which
Hezekiah his father had
destroyed; and he reared
up altars for Baal,
and made a grove,
as did Ahab king of
Israel; and worshipped all the host
of heaven, and served
them.
2 Kings 21:3
And he put down the idolatrous priests,
whom the kings of Judah
had ordained to burn
incense in the high
places in the cities of
Judah, and in the places
round about Jerusalem;
them also that burned
incense unto Baal, to
the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of
heaven. And he took
away the horses that the
kings of Judah had given
to the sun, at
the entering in of the
house of the LORD, by
the chamber of
Nathanmelech the
chamberlain, which [was]
in the suburbs, and
burned the chariots of
the sun with fire.
2 Kings 23:5,11
Bring no more vain
oblations; incense is an
abomination unto me; the new moons and
sabbaths, the calling of
assemblies, I cannot
away with; [it is]
iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and
your appointed feasts my
soul hateth: they are a
trouble unto me; I am
weary to bear [them].
Isaiah 1:13-14 |
And they shall
spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the
host of heaven, whom
they have loved,
and whom they have served, and after
whom they have walked,
and whom they have sought, and whom
they have worshipped:
they shall not be
gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for
dung upon the face of
the earth.
Jeremiah 8:2 |
Then
said he unto me, Hast thou
seen [this], O son of man?
turn thee yet again, [and]
thou shalt see greater
abominations than these.
And he brought me into the
inner court of the LORD'S
house, and, behold, at
the door of the temple of
the LORD, between the
porch and the altar, [were]
about five and twenty men,
with their backs toward the
temple of the LORD, and
their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the
sun toward the east.
Ezekiel
8:16-15
It may be important here to
note that most all of the
temples of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints point to the east,
including the "Angel Moroni"
that stands at the top of
most temples.
Who changed
the truth of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served the creature
more than the Creator, who is
blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 1:25

This
pentagram is all over the Salt
Lake Temple above the doors and
most of the side windows. It is
also found very prominent in its
more evil form (bottom part
elongated) on the Eagle Gate at
Temple Square and on the Logan
Temple. Several large inverted
pentagrams decorated the Nauvoo
Temple.

Here we come back to
those arched window keystones. Let's
take a closer look at them.

Here you can see very
clearly the inverted pentagrams that
appear above each arched window
around the Salt Lake temple.

Let's take a walk
over to the North Visitors Center
and go up the spiral walk that takes
you to a room with a statue of
Christ. Seating benches are usually
pushed up against the planter boxes
so they can't be seen.

There are 18 of the
inverted stars on the planter boxes.
These inverted stars have an
elongated point that is pointing
down. This is said to be the more
evil form of the pentagram.

A closer look at the
planter box and one of the
individual inverted stars.

Street and South Temple Street.
The original was a 22 foot gate to
Brigham Young's property in 1859.

apartment is the glassed in floor
above the eagle's wings and to the
right.

There is one on the other side also.
"In the
architectural plans [of the Salt
Lake Temple] it is clear that
the upside-down stars that we
now see were originally meant to
look exactly like those on the
Nauvoo Temple, with an elongated
point on the bottom." (Symbols in
Stone, p. 155.)
"The
Freemasons of the United States
have, by tacit consent, referred
to it (the pentagram) as a
symbol of the Five Points of
Fellowship. The outlines of the
five pointed star are the same
as those of the pentalpha or
Pythagoras." (Encyclopedia of
Freemasonry, p. 358.)
"The pentagrams and sunstones which adorned the Nauvoo
Temple were a clear indication
of what transpired in side. The
occultic face of ancient Baal or
Amon-Ra shone forth,
interspersed with inverted five
pointed stars or ‘Goatshead
star’ (below) associated for
eons of time with all pagan and
Satanic worship." (What’s Going On
In There? p. 61.)
 |
Now on to
the most scary site you
will see. Remember the
picture of the Church
History Museum from
above, and the mural
that is above the glass
doors as you go in? In
this more close-up
picture we want to pay
particular attention to
the circled area to the
top far left. The circle
on the right is the sun
stone as shown above
previously. |
Let's
take a closer look into
the far top left hand
corner and see what it
is we find. We have two
inverted pentagrams both
a little different from
the other. But none the
less they are still
inverted pentagrams and
Satanic symbols. The one
on the left of the two
is the most important. |
 |

Now let's
take a look at the
symbol that is on the
front cover of the
Satanic Bible.
I
scanned it myself!!! |

Here is a
picture of one of the
window frames to be
installed in the NEW
REBUILT Nauvoo Illinois
Temple. |
"In the
science of magic the pentalpha
is called the holy and
Mysterious pentagram. ...the
pentagram in the star of Magians;
...by virtue of the number five,
it has great command over evil
spirits because of its five
double triangles and its five
acute angles within and its five
obtuse angles without, so that
this interior pentangle contains
in it many great mysteries." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry,
pp.762-763.)
"Egypt,
a great center of learning and
the birthplace of many arts and
sciences, furnished an ideal
environment for transcendental
experimentation. False interpretations were given
to the emblems and figures of
the Mysteries, and elaborate
theologies were created to
confuse the minds of their
devotees. The masses, deprived
of their birthright of
understanding and groveling in
ignorance, eventually became the
abject slaves of the spiritual
impostors. Superstition
universally prevailed and the
black magicians completely
dominated national affairs, with
the result that humanity still
suffers from the sophistries of
the priestcrafts of Egypt." (Secret Teachings of All Ages,
p. CI. Emphasis added.)
"In
symbolism, an inverted figure
always signifies a perverted
power. The average person
does not even suspect the occult
properties of emblematic
pentacles. On this subject the
great Paracelsus has written:
‘No doubt many will scoff at the
seals, their characters and
their uses, which are described
in these books. because is seems
incredible to them that metals
and characters which are dead
should have any power and
effect.’
A good
instance of this practice is
found in the pentagram, or
five-pointed star, made of five
connected lines. This figure is
the time-honored symbol of the
magical arts.... The pentagram
is used extensively in black
magic....The star may be broken
at one point by not permitting
the converging lines to touch;
it may be inverted by having one
point down and two up; or it may
be distorted by having the
points of varying lengths. When used in black magic, the pentagram is called the "sign
of the cloven hoof," or the
footprint of the Devil. The
star with two points upward is
also called the "Goat of
Mendes*," because the
inverted star is the same shape
as a goat’s head. When the
upright star turns and upper
point falls to the bottom, it
signifies the fall of the
Morning Star." (Secret Teachings
of All Ages, p. CIV. Emphasis
added.)
*Baphomet, The Goat of Mendes.
"Baphomet was indeed a common
medieval form of the word
Mahomet and that not only meant
a false prophet but a demon." (Encyclopedia of
Freemasonry, p. 124.)
We'll let
you make up your own mind. But
please ask yourself, how do
these compare? Why are symbols
that are recognized worldwide to
be related to witchcraft and
Satanic worship all over the
Salt Lake Temple and other sites
near the temple? Why isn't the
cross, a symbol that is
recognized worldwide to be
related with Christianity and
the price Jesus paid for us
anywhere near ANY Mormon
building?
And
lest thou lift up thine eyes
unto heaven, and when thou seest
the sun, and the moon, and the
stars, [even] all the host of
heaven, shouldest be driven to
worship them, and serve them,
which the LORD thy God hath
divided unto all nations under
the whole heaven.
Deuteronomy 4:19
And whosoever doth not
bear his cross, and come after
me, cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:27
The LDS
Church has duped it's people
into believing that these
symbols are all Godly and they
can give you an reasonable
excuse as to what they mean. For
example the symbol of the sun,
moon and stars has often been
explained away in this manner.
That they represent the three
degrees of glory and are
described in the Bible;
1 Corinthians
15:41-42
[There is] one glory
of the sun, and another glory of
the moon, and another glory of
the stars: for [one] star
differeth from [another] star in
glory.
42 So also [is]
the resurrection of the
dead......
Besides
the fact that this verse is
being taken completely out of
context, the subject being
spoken about is only referring
to two types of resurrections,
that of the spiritual body and
that of the natural body. Notice
how the LDS church has had to
come up with another name for a
heaven that doesn't exist? They
actually made up a word to fit
their doctrine of this so called
three degrees of glory. Where in
the Bible can you find any
reference to heaven as "Telestial"
or for that matter Terrestrial?
When you look at this entire
chapter in context you will see
that there is reference given to
only two places which Mormonism
has equated to heaven.
Terrestrial and Celestial.
Terrestrial is strictly in
reference to the earth or our
earthly bodies. Celestial is in
reference to one heaven or our heavenly bodies after
they are resurrected.
When
you use the analogy given in the
Bible and then derive graven
images from it and then put them
on our places of worship they
become idolistic and an
abomination to God. Putting our
focus on things that are Pagan
in origin and tearing our focus
away from the cross where our
Savior paid the price for our
sins. Did he or did he not say,
"It is finished"?
Almost
all of the new smaller temples (McTemples)
have the symbol of the sun
(Baal) on them in one form or
another. Yet nowhere to be found
is the universal symbol of Jesus
Christ, the cross.
Matthew 16:24
¶ Then said Jesus unto
his disciples, If any
[man] will come after me, let
him deny himself, and take up
his cross, and follow me.
Luke 14:27
And whosoever doth not bear his
cross, and come after me, cannot
be my disciple.
It is
our hope and prayer that you
will be able to see the true
origin of the Mormon Temple and
all of it's signs and symbols
inside and out. For me, it took
a 15 years to begin to realize
that the god of the Mormon
Church is not the Holy God of
the Bible.
